CODA recognises the importance of the family and the need to support working parents in ways that help them balance their work and family lives. We want to ensure that both current and new mums and dads get all the help and support they need.
We give time off for antenatal, midwife, health visitor and parent craft classes as well as maternity pay and leave. Our occupational health teams are available to carry out health checks any time before and after the birth, including risk assessments where appropriate. CODA offers a number of policies to support the need for individuals to balance home life demands with work as these fluctuate:

Competitive rates of pay and performance related rewards
We regularly check our salaries to make sure we're competitive. And in order to keep up with any changes in the market, we'll review your basic pay every year. We also offer extra performance rewards to recognise individual achievement.
Life Assurance
Upon becoming a permanent employee, you are immediately entitled to Life Assurance of 4 times your pensionable salary.Permanent Health Insurance (Income Protection)After being with the company for a year, you are entitled to Permanent Health Insurance through Canada Life.
CIGNA
CODA employees are comprehensively covered under CIGNA’s Private Healthcare Scheme.
Pension Scheme
CODA has an award winning Personal Pension Plan Contributory scheme in place. This requires employees sacrificing at least 3.25%, in return for 7% from the company.
PCP (Private Car Plan) Allowance
For selected management roles and employees that have to travel for their job we offer a competitive PCP car allowance
Leeds Hospital Fund
We have corporate rates agreed with LHF which acts as a health plan as opposed to CIGNA which is a health insurance.
Eye care Vouchers
We are part of Spec savers’ premium club which allows us to offer £20 discount vouchers off any pair of glasses from their £99 and over range.

Wine Club
CODA runs a wine club which allows employees to take advantage of discounted wine but also to socialise together. Gym MembershipWe have corporate discounts on 2 local gym memberships.
Childcare Voucher Scheme
CODA have teamed up with Leapfrog to provide a Childcare Voucher scheme which works in a similar way to the pension salary sacrifice and therefore offers working parents the chance of tax-free childcare.
Free Parking
CODA’s Harrogate office has extensive free parking – allowing employees to travel from all parts of the region.
Support charity activities and events
CODA encourages staff to become involved with and to support charity and voluntary groups. We offer corporate financial support to staff raising funds for a small number of specified charities with the aim of helping create a bigger impact within those charities. However, we also provide notice boards to promote charities and will be happy for you to raise funds for any non-politcally based charity.
Career Development
Most of us want more than a job; we want a career. CODA has a dedicated development team that offers all employees training in job related skills, workshops on career management and development, resources for self-driven learning and personal guidance/support. Paid Membership of Professional Bodies
Any employee that is a member of an appropriate professional body may apply to have their annual membership paid for.
